The CDC has given the all-clear for Miami-Dade County with no new locally transmitted cases of the Zika virus reported in well over a month. Last summer’s outbreak in the county’s Wynwood area saw the first cases of locally transmitted Zika in the continental U.S. - leading the CDC to declare this and other nearby areas as “Zika Zones”, warning the public to stay clear.
