Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is considered the most prevalent mental health disorder affecting children in the United States. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates more than 6 million children have been diagnosed as of 2012. We discuss diagnosis and advances in treatment with FIU’s Center for Children and Families’ Dr. Erica Musser.
