August marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, giving many women the right to vote. Megan Wood of Ohio History Connection provides insight into the fight for voting rights, introduces us to some of the important women who helped lead the cause, and explains how the 19th Amendment was neither the beginning nor the end of women’s activism
