Wait a minute.
Then we do this already?
Oh, no.
It's Groundhog Day.
One of the most common thing I hear, especially from adults, is the only thing I can draw is a stick figure.
Well if you can draw a stick figure, you can draw just abou anything, including a groundhog.
Let me show you how it's done.
We're going to start off by drawing a stick figure circle.
Line.
Down, down and across.
Now, just about anybody can draw that.
I'm going to show you how t transform it into a groundhog.
We're going to come up around and down, up, around and down and form sort of a stick bunny.
But we're going to turn these into eyes.
One and two.
This is going to become the nose.
We're going to just shade that in with a little bit of line shading.
And then we're going to add the teeth down over and up down.
Now for the head.
The head and body are one piece.
So we're going to come all the way down.
All the way down.
Now up to the top of the head.
Little fluff of hair.
Eyebrows.
And next, the ears.
The ears are a fuzzy letter C. And then the interior.
Or inside?
Same thing on the other side.
In reverse.
Next, the arms and paws out.
Letter U and N same.
The other side.
Reverse up.
What are you, an n?
One two.
One, two.
We're going to take this line here and add another line.
And 123123.
Now we're going to make him sort of poking his head out of the ground to see if he sees his shadow.
To do that, a letter C and then just keep it coming all the way across.
And add another letter C backwards.
This time.
Line here and here adds a little bit of depth to it.
And then we just color in this area here and here.
A little bit of grass.
And then you decide if he's seeing his shadow or not.
I'm going to go ahead and add that shadow in.
And then sign your name.
Take pride in your work.
There is your groundhog.
And that's how to take a stick figure and turn it into a groundhog.
Happy Groundhog day.
That's better.
Okay.
Any fun facts and tales?
Yeah.
One more.
