Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorshipFor as long as I remember myself, I've always been making art.
It was just a matter of time until we were collaborating.
We're ordinary people in an extraordinary situation.
In Ukraine, it's a war of professional assailants against defenders who are amateurs.
- They hit, and more are coming.
Among them, writers, musicians, teachers, artists.

Fire a short burst.
When they erase these people, they erase Ukraine.
Resistance to evil must be uncompromising.
- Hang on, buddy, we're getting you out right now.
Hang on, sweetie, everything'll be ok, we're getting you out.
The stories we tell through art, they are also our resistance.
During the most revolting moments of this war it's critically important to just smile once in a while.
It's not that difficult to scare people, but it's hard to forbid them to live.
