It started as a small soup kitchen and overnight shelter in the 1960s to aid Cuban Refugees. Now, nearly 60 years later, Camillus House has gone on to become an invaluable resource for the poor and homeless in Miami-Dade County. Camillus CEO Hilda Fernandez tells us how they plan to use a $200,000 grant to continue their work to help the needy – and homeless youth.
